Ya girl is officially the big 4-0!

I can vividly remember my 20-year-old self: a girl full energy, eyes wide, loved to party, a liver and lover of life and someone who was always ready to take on whatever the universe threw her way!

Two decades later…I am still that girl! It’s just that a little knee and back pain slows me down, motherhood has my schedule swamped, being a wife…whew, yeah, lol!

And partying for me looks like calling my family over for sushi and drinks while we tell old stories.

But, yes, I’m still that girl!

The road to 40 seemed like a long one, as 2025 proved to be super challenging in every aspect of my life.

Marriage was hard, losing weight was hard, my career (and some questionable decisions therein) molly whopped me for 365 days straight, motherhood dragged me and for a girl who loves a good party, I was not really looking forward to turning 40, much less celebrating it.

But I am so blessed and so loved that even when I could only see the pitfalls this last year served me, my family saw more and thought I was worthy of, not just a celebration, but also being celebrated!

They saw a mom momming hard, a career woman trying to get back on her feet, and my husband saw a wife who, despite what she thought or felt, was worthy and deserving of a beautiful dinner party for making it all look so easy.

On December 5, 2025, led by my husband and sister, my family threw me the most fantastic 40th birthday party. They curated a room filled with some of my favorite people, created vibes and energy that can’t be matched, delivered aesthetics that wowed the crowd and perfectly suit my style and tastes and I couldn’t ask for more.
