The shortest month, but the month of all things red, white, pink, chocolate and love! Already two months into the new year and time seems to be flying. That said, there are a few things each month that I set my sights on and get that help me to make it thorough the calendar. Thank goodness this month has a few days shaved off!

1. Pink – Since I dedicated my December to all things red, even though the color will dominate February, I’m loving pink hues this month. From shocking pink lips while running daily errands, to a softer, blush tone for dinner. Opt for rosy cheeks, petal kissed fingertips and clothing options with pink accents.

2. Earlobe cuffs – I did an amazing photo shoot several weeks ago. A headshot that featured simple makeup and highlighted these gorgeous earrings shaped like angel wings and sparkly. I bought a few pairs and plan to switch out my regular bite-seized earrings for something more eye-catching.  

3. Jackets, sweaters and overthrows of all kinds – February usually throws a curve ball when it comes to the weather. I often think that once January is gone I can pull out my tank tops and cut off jeans and take to the town. And maybe I can, but I dare not do it without packing a jacket or light sweater. February weather is tricky!

4. Chocolate – Yes it’s February so of course I want chocolate! Dipped, drizzled and decorated!
