My Minimalist Christmas Dinner Table Styling
Dec 26, 2023
Black minimalist was this year’s Christmas dinner table styling theme. And even though I never host the Christmas family dinner at my house, I love setting our table for all the gatherings and dinners that happen throughout the season.
This year I opted for a chic, classic, minimalist look for our festive tablescape; with creams, blacks, neutrals and hints of woody greens to add some holly jolly.
I started with a cream table runner with tassels on the ends. I found four black ceramic Christmas tree figurines and knew they would be perfect for my vision. I added two to the table and used them to build out the rest of the look. I came across these two beautiful sand-colored ceramic candle holders and decided to use them as part of the decor.
I joined them with two mini Christmas trees, whose colors were the perfect match: not too green, but the perfect shade for minimalism. Black and white plate settings were stacked on top of my cream beaded scallop edged place mats while black napkins were held together by nutcrackers.
For height I threw in two black steel candle holders and topped them with two cream colored candles. Black and white pillows from my couch were the perfect accents and added a cozy touch. For the life of me, I couldn’t find a centerpiece that matched and that I loved. So I took one of my wooden plant holders and placed a candle on it.
It’s the day after Christmas and the table is still set. Here’s where we’ll enjoy late breakfasts, leftovers and new year’s brunch!
I love how this minimalist Christmas dinner table styling turned out! Let me know in the comments what’s your favorite part!
