Ok, confession time! I sorta kinda got a jump start on my “needs” this month by purchasing many of the items on my list ahead of time! SORRY! I just couldn’t resist! While many of the items for this month are perched in my shoe closet, has already found its spot in my makeup bag or being shipped from the Far East, I still had to share with you! Here are the things I’m loving this month!

Fringin’ gorgeous – I first came across these beauties while scrolling through Instagram one night and I instantly fell in love! Anyone who knows me knows that when I want something I research the heck out of it before buying! When I found out that these beautiful fringed, tasselled goddesses were the original design of Aquazzura called The “Wild Thing” and found out that these shoes cost $785…my wallet was not having it! RESEARCH TIME! I found the same shoe but more wallet friendly on one of my fave sites La Moda, but they were sold out of my size! RESEARCH SOME MORE! I came across a new fave site Simmi Shoes and there they were, the beauties, in five different colors, all in my size! I picked them up the other day and have been plotting their steps since then!

As a “matte” of fact! – Ruby Woo from MAC was my first matte lipstick and the only matte lipstick I wore for several years. But real recently a drug store cosmetic brand has been stealing my kisses! L.A. Girl is where it’s at for the matte lip you desire, trust me! I first saw the L.A. Girl flat finish pigment gloss in a store and wasn’t interested, but one of my sister’s friends wore it one day and I was sold. I went back and purchased four of them. A few days later I went to order new contact lenses and the person serving me had on this delicious chocolate matte lip and I had to know where she got it from. It was another L.A. Girl brand but this time, the flat velvet lipstick! I went out and purchased four more (I shop in bulk). I find that the lipstick version is much better because its application is easier, smoother and isn’t as dry. The gloss version is nice once applied but it’s so wet and is super hard to get off! Pick your poison!

Hair accessories – The “tie in” to any great holiday outfit is a good pin, clip, or headband for your hairstyle. Whether long or short, hair accessories add glitz, glamour and festivity to any look. Even with my short mane, I add a little pizazz to my looks by topping it off with something sparkly for my head!
