Where’d October go?! I’m not so sure, but what I do know is that November is here and there are some things that I just NEED to have this month. As the temperatures cool down, holiday parties are in the making and everyone gets in a jolly mood there are items that I will either need to wear, eat, smell, keep in my purse or buy in order to survive this all of November’s 31 days.

1. Diamond studs – I don’t know if it’s because I normally keep my hair cut short, but I live for a good, shiny pair of diamond studs. They frame the face so beautifully without overpowering a look and add a classic touch to any outfit. Whether formally or casually dressed, a good pair of diamond studs (real or not) puts the finishing touch on any look.

 

2. Thigh high boots – OOOOHHH I love me a pair of good thigh high boots. They’re perfect for cooler weathers and add a sexy touch to a look. With the temperatures cooling down here in The Bahamas now, I have an excuse to rock this sexy footwear.

 

3. Camel tones – Creamy, classy, rich and suave. Camel coloured pieces are perfect for the fall. And if you’re still rocking your chocolate nail colours from last month, then you’re on the right track.

4. Cinnamon scents – The strong, rich scent of cinnamon is intoxicating and as Glade and Febreze roll out their holiday collections I will be right there picking them all up to make sure my house, car and office are all blissfully scented with that amazing spice. Oh, bring on the desserts as well, cinnamon rolls and breads and drinks and sweets! YUMMY!

5. Opaque stockings – Simply amazing. Simple and amazing. Take your summer short shorts and mini skirts (no pun intended) into the fall by layering with opaque stockings.

6. Mason jar – LISTEN! This here is my new fave! I love cuddling up in bed on a Sunday watching “Set it Off” while crying and sipping my favourite hot or cold drink from my very own mason jar. I don’t know why, but these cute little sippies make me feel a little more distinguished and cute. Don’t judge me, we all have our thing! 🙂
