I love fall! The weather was certainly loving me back today as the breeze picked up, a slight chill settled in the air and rustic inspired leaves crunched under my boots! I was beginning to wonder if The Bahamas had gotten the memo that the seasons had changed because the sun seemed to have made his bed on our shores. But alas, crispy air and cuddle weather called for a change in fashion and style so here’s what I wore to face the breeze.

My ever handy, versatile black crew neck long sleeved shirt from Forever 21, short white khakis from GAP, burgundy low top boots and matching fedora, both from Forever 21.

I wont even lie, when I woke up this morning and saw the forecast for the day I was like a kid in a candy store ready to play in my closet and pull out my fall faves.

A fun way I’ve found to shop your own closet and piece together outfits you didn’t even know you had is to play in your clothes! One day very recently, I decided to “flip” my closets and drawers. Meaning, I moved clothes that were at the back of the closet to the front and vice versa and clothes I have stacked on a stand, I refolded and rearranged them on the shelves. I found that this method reminded me of many pieces I forgot I had. I was also able to see certain items next to others and found out how great they looked together. I tried them all on and created 11 new looks from all old pieces…and of course made a note of them all in case I needed a quick ‘fit for a night out! This outfit is one of them! I can’t wait to share the others with you!
