Talk about amazing!

After the insane jet lag wore off and my brain, body and sleep pattern finally readjusted to the time change, I got to unpacking, sorting out the thousands of photos I snapped along the way, sorting through souvenirs and opening draft blogs to about 5 upcoming posts, including the full run down of the week spent in Dubai!! But before I get to the nitty gritty of all the amazing aspects of ticking off one of my travel bucket list items, as customary on this here blog, I’m breaking down my fave looks from the trip. Here is Who. What. Wear. (DUBAI!)

Versatility is why I love this dress! I actually wore this when I stood maid of honor in one of my friends’ wedding last year. And I knew I had to pack this flowy, spring inspired number for my journey to the UAE. The color popped and the cool, airy design was perfect for the weather and dress code in Dubai. The length was respectable, the shape and fit were modest and it just rocks! I paired this dress with my gold mini gladiator sandals and it was the perfect attire for gliding through the city on a hot day!

This was the perfect outfit for frolicking in the street markets, eating an impromptu lunch on the ground with new Pakistani friends and putting my bargaining skills to use against the crafty shop owners. This tangerine jersey cotton dress was comfortable and casual for the day. I paired it with this floral long sleeved cape that was the perfect addition! My laced up camel colored sandals put the cherry on top. The block heel made it perfect for maneuvering the markert’s slender aisles.

Visiting the Dubai Heritage Village was an absolutely amazing experience. This was one of the last stops we made on the Abu Dhabi tour that day and I couldn’t have been happier with the outfit I chose! With so much walking and hopping into and out of the tour bus, my light button down shirt and printed slacks was the perfect ensemble. My gold chunky heel? The finishing touch!

Before I even got to Dubai I knew I needed to get a kaftan! The flowy but fitted ensemble with intricate details at the neckline are so beautiful and regal I had to have one…or two! I purchased this off white number with red, gold and green jewels at the neck and fell in love! For our final night out on the night, we all wore our kaftans as an ode to Dubai and got rave reviews! I got a second dress in black and a shirt in this style in green! I can’t wait to wear them!
