I’m just back home from an amazing two-night, three-day staycation in paradise at The Cove Atlantis.

And boy was that get-a-way needed!

I was among a group of bloggers, influencers and the media invited to the luxury resort to attend a weekend of events they hosted. I enjoyed an amazing Speakeasy event, a fun-filled pool party, dinners, brunches and some really good food.

When I first saw the jam-packed itinerary, I immediately knew I had to get my wardrobe in order. I mean, it’s also been a minute since I got some mommy time, got to dress up for the entire weekend and just relax.

LBD (Little Black Dress)

The easiest way to get your groove back? Throw on a little black dress! At least that usually works for me. The classic wear must have super powers, because for decades it’s been a go-to look for women all around the world. That’s why I grabbed mine for our first night out! We headed to FISH, a seafood and steakhouse with some of the most delicious dishes ever! After dinner we headed to an event in the SeaGlass Lounge for drinks, light snacks and lots of dancing! Blue Hues

I saw this dress on Instagram one day and knew I needed it. The color the style, the sleeves! I immediately fell in love with it and ordered it…for just $20!! Purple Wings

This top! I was in the store for about 30 minutes before I spotted her. The color first caught my eye, and when I removed it from the hanger I saw these huge sleeves, a velvet heart-shaped bodice and somehow, I also saw my name on it. If you know me, you know I love an off-the-shoulder, puff sleeve combo, so leaving this in the store was a no-no! The shirt can actually be worn on or off the shoulder. I paired these purple wings with my newest pair of mom jeans and a simple black heel, large hoops and a clutch for our sushi dinner.

White After Labour Day

Sunday’s brunch was very angelic! I donned a simple white cotton dress that I found for just $11! It was so chic and cool and I love the two tie closures at the back! I paired it with some black leather slides, simple black sunnies and my straw bag again. If it’s made to be wear on the shoulder, but can be worn off the shoulder, I’m choosing the latter, always! We had a great time at our final brunch of the weekend, headed poolside to soak in some sun and tour the property one last time before check out. Love this dress? Click here and it’s yours!
