The travel bug surely hit me this year! Three countries between March and August and I’ve had an amazing time. Fresh off of my Puerto Rican summer vacation I was whisked away to Canada to help my little brother settle into his first semester at college. I literally booked my hotel and ticket the night before he was scheduled to head off…who misses an opportunity to travel?! From the Niagara Falls, to downtown Toronto, Dundas Square and the CN Tower, I wanted to see it all. With only hours to pack my bags for an impromptu trip to Canada, I grabbed some weather appropriate clothing items for a week spent in Toronto. Here are the details from my fave looks in the 6ix.

I’m forever stealing my sister’s clothes and I’m not ashamed! She had this olive calf length dress sitting in her closet for several weeks and never wore it…so I did! I love the soft cotton material and deep plunging back line that kept me cool and comfy that day. Paired with these flat gold two strap sandals I was ready to tour the city. This was Canada, so I braced for some extreme change in the weather and was I right! What went from a hot, sunny, summer day was a foggy, wet day the next. But it didn’t matter because this day we went to the beautiful Niagara Falls and the rainy weather was no match for the misty atmosphere there. Here’s what I wore.

Comfy and chic! A beige camisole with some skinny leg black trousers from H&M with a slouchy sweater and burgundy fedora, both from Forever 21. All this with my teal and white Nike tennis. The hat was a last minute addition when I realised what the wet weather was doing to my hair. It was the perfect “topper.”

This neutral, burgundy color scheme carried over into the next day when I took to the city to play tourist. I paired this gray top with some casual jeans and burgundy ankle boots from Forever 21.
